Which credit cards are accepted by USA PAY?

USA PAY accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We also except digital wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.

What are interchange fees?

Interchange fees are the base cost of a credit card transaction. Visa/Mastercard sets all interchange fees on a bi-annual basis. Credit card companies do not recieve profits off interchange fees. Interchange fees vary by card type and acceptance method.

What is EMV?

EMV is a chip embedded card designed to make card transactions more secure. The digital code changes during every purchase where as a swipe card has a static code that never changes. EMV stands for EuroCard, Mastercard and Visa. The three that created the technology.

What is PCI compliance?

The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council, made up of the major credit card companies, established what we know as the PCI Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). PCI DSS are the security guidlines that businesses follow to protect and safeguard cardholder data. If you accept debit or credit cards, you’ve agreed to follow PCI Compliance guidlines.
